This course is designed for learners with basic English skills who want to improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing. You will build confidence in everyday communication, including conversations, filling in forms, and understanding simple information.

IAG: Initial assessment will identify your current level and learning goals. Ongoing support and guidance will be provided to help you progress, with advice on next steps such as ESOL Entry Level certificate qualifications or further study leading to applications for employment.

  • Entry Requirements
    • A basic level of English, preferably A1 Level
    • All students will be asked to complete an assessment task prior to the class to decide if the course is suitable for them
  • Assessment

    You will be assessed in class through role plays, pair and group work, questions and answer sessions and homework
