This one-year study programme is aimed at students aged 16-19 who are considering a career in the creative and/or digital industry sectors. It is designed to provide students with a variety of opportunities to learn a range of skills that will enable progression to a Level 2 qualification. You will produce a range of digital products for a specific purpose using a range of industry standard applications and tools.

  • What you will study

    You will study the following bitesized units:

    • Creating Storyboards
    • Designing an interactive presentation
    • Editing and sharing a Media Product
    • Layout and design for a Digital Product
    • Creating an Animation
    • Broadcasting and Creating an audio recording
  • Entry Requirements

    There are no entry requirements but if you don’t have any qualifications you will be asked to take an English and maths test.

  • Assessment

    You will complete a range of unit assignments to produce a portfolio of evidence. A large proportion of your work will be assignment based but you can also expect to complete assessments, presentations and project work. This qualification is assessed via a collection of practical and written based assignments set and marked by your lecturer.

  • Moving Forward

    This course will enable you to progress to a Level 2 course in Information Technology, Digital Media or another industry area.
